Suzanne Rogers' Journey: Overcoming Colorectal Cancer with Support from Days of our Lives Family

Suzanne Rogers, known for her role as Maggie Horton on Days of our Lives, faced a significant challenge when she was diagnosed with Stage II colorectal cancer. After undergoing treatment, including radiation and chemotherapy, she is now on the road to recovery. Rogers received support from her friends and colleagues on and off the set, including her on-screen daughter Linsey Godfrey, who accompanied her to appointments and provided comfort during her infusion sessions. The cast and producers of the show also offered their support and reassurance that her role would be waiting for her when she returned. Rogers completed her treatment in July and is now preparing to return to work on the show. Despite some lingering fatigue, she is feeling optimistic about her recovery and is grateful for the prayers and well wishes that helped her through this challenging time.
