Exploring European Cinema: The Les Arcs Coproduction Village 17th Edition

The Les Arcs Coproduction Village in France has announced the selection of 18 European feature film projects for its upcoming 17th edition in December. The initiative aims to assist projects in finding coproducers, sales agents, distributors, and financing partners. The selected projects, chosen from 391 submissions, include a diverse range of filmmakers, with female-directed projects representing 41% of the submissions. The projects will compete for awards such as the Eurimages Co-production Development Award and the ArteKino International Award. This year, Greece is the Country of Focus at the festival, with three Greek projects invited to the Coproduction Village.
The Industry Village at Les Arcs Film Festival will offer a program of conferences, meetings, workshops, and masterclasses, in addition to the selection of projects. The Music Village will bring together over 200 professionals from the music and film industry for various activities, including one-to-one meeting sessions, workshops, and masterclasses.
The selected projects include a diverse range of films from different countries, such as "Alicante" from France, "Confirmation" from Poland, "Dasha" from Spain and Germany, "Disqualifié" from Greece, "Elsewhere" from Ukraine and Poland, "Friends, Birthdays, Murder, Etc." from Greece, "Hard Copy" from Germany, "I Will Drink with the Bees" from France, "In the Name of Pleasure" from the United Kingdom, "Inner Warrior" from Denmark, "Invasion" from Sweden, "Love in the Time of Communism" from Bulgaria and Greece, "One Hand Jesus" from Romania, "Pantano de Aves" from Belgium, "Riot/Girl" from Austria and France, "Since You've Been Gone" from Spain, "The Hermit" from Greece and Sweden, and "The Tigress" from Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
