New RaceTrac Gas Station in Summerfield: The Ninth Location in Marion County

Construction of a new RaceTrac gas station in Summerfield is almost finished, making it the ninth RaceTrac location in Marion County. Situated at the junction of U.S. Highway 441 and SE 147th Place/Sunset Harbor Road, the new RaceTrac spans over 6,000 square feet and has been in the works for several months. Schmid Construction from Winter Garden is overseeing the project. Originally established as Carl Bolch Trackside Stations in Missouri in 1934, RaceTrac now boasts approximately 300 gas stations in Florida and over 800 nationwide. Marion County currently hosts eight RaceTrac locations, with seven in Ocala and one in Belleview. The upcoming RaceTrac in Summerfield will be the southernmost in the county, positioned about five and a half miles south of the Belleview site. Once operational, the new RaceTrac will be in close proximity to Exxon Mobil and Circle K gas stations at the same intersection.
