Ducks Dominate Red Wings: Terry's Two Goals Lead Anaheim to 5-2 Victory
The Anaheim Ducks secured a 5-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings with Troy Terry leading the charge by scoring two goals and contributing an assist. Leo Carlsson also had a goal and three assists, while Mason McTavish and Chris Kreider found the back of the net for the Ducks. Lukas Dostal made 28 saves to secure the win.
On the other side, Alex DeBrincat and Lucas Raymond each had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings, who entered the game on a three-game winning streak. John Gibson made 27 saves for Detroit, with DeBrincat scoring on the power play.
Terry's first goal for the Ducks came in the first period with a short-handed wrist shot, assisted by Drew Helleson and Carlsson. He later sealed the victory with an empty-net goal. Kreider's goal early in the third period extended the Ducks' lead to 4-2.
The Ducks will next face the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night, while the Red Wings will visit the San Jose Sharks on the same night.
