Bachelor Alums Take on the New York City Marathon: Reality Stars' Race Day Adventures

The New York City Marathon attracted a diverse group of participants, including some familiar faces from reality TV. Joe Amabile from "Bachelor in Paradise" shared his pre-race excitement with a photo of his bib and gear. However, his race day didn't go as planned as he later posted a picture showing a significant amount of blood on his sock, likely from a foot injury or blister.

Another "Bachelor" alum, Joey Graziadei, also joined the race as part of "Team Ultra," a group supported by Michelob Ultra. Zac Clark showcased his pre-race preparation, laying out his gear meticulously and expressing his anticipation for the race.

Despite their efforts, these reality stars did not clinch the top spots in the marathon. Kenyan runner Benson Kipruto emerged as the men's champion with an impressive time of 2:08:09, while Hellen Obiri, also from Kenya, set a new course record for the women.

Although the former Bachelors may not have had a paradise-like experience during the marathon, their determination and participation are commendable. It's inspiring to see them take on such a challenging event and give it their all.
