The Super Mario Galaxy Movie was officially announced in September 2025 during a Nintendo Direct presentation. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, the sequel to the 2023 Super Mario Bros. Movie will see the return of screenwriter Matthew Fogel.
