Legal Battle Between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively Ends with Judge Dismissal

The legal battle between actors Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively over allegations of sexual harassment and defamation has come to an end. A judge dismissed Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against Lively for failing to meet a deadline to continue his claim. Lively responded by requesting a final judgment, which the judge granted while keeping her request for legal fees active. The original lawsuit filed by Lively against Baldoni is still ongoing.

Baldoni's lawsuit accused Lively of stealing the film they starred in together and launching a smear campaign against him. However, the judge ruled that Baldoni did not provide enough evidence to support his claims of extortion and defamation. The judge also dismissed the $250 million suit against the New York Times, stating that the publication did not act with malice in reporting the story.

Despite Baldoni's lawyer's claims of having additional evidence and refined allegations to support their case, no amended claims were filed. Both Baldoni and his production company Wayfarer have not commented on the latest ruling. The legal battle between the two actors has been ongoing since Lively sued Baldoni last December.
