Capturing Bowie: A Photographer's Journey with David Bowie

My first encounter with David Bowie was during a photoshoot for his band Tin Machine. I proposed a unique lighting technique using a flashlight, which intrigued him. This unconventional approach impressed Bowie, leading to a long-standing collaboration that spanned 15 years. Our creative process involved spontaneity and experimentation, with Bowie's willingness to explore new ideas and push boundaries. His trust in my vision allowed us to create captivating and innovative images together. This partnership was a gift that challenged me to constantly evolve as a photographer.
