Kelly Clarkson Announces Resumption of Studio Sessions Residency with New Dates for 2026

Kelly Clarkson is making a comeback to the stage with new shows for her Studio Sessions residency after a hiatus following the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. She took time off to be with her children during Blackstock's illness and passing. Clarkson announced the postponement of her August dates but is now resuming her residency with new shows scheduled for next year in August. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 7, with presales happening earlier in the week. The singer will also perform at Studio Sessions this Friday, marking her return to the stage since the postponement.

Brandon Blackstock, who was Clarkson's ex-husband and former manager, passed away on Aug. 7, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He had two children with Clarkson and two from a previous marriage. Blackstock started his career at Starstruck Entertainment, his father's company, where he managed artists like Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts. Clarkson and Blackstock met in 2006 and got together in 2012, tying the knot in 2013. Blackstock managed Clarkson from 2017 until their separation in 2020. They welcomed two children, River and Remington, in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

The new dates for Kelly Clarkson's Studio Sessions residency are set for August next year, with shows on August 7, 8, 14, and 15. Fans can purchase tickets starting Friday, Nov. 7, with presales available earlier in the week. Clarkson will return to the stage this Friday for her first performance since the hiatus. The singer's comeback marks a significant moment for her and her fans as she continues to share her music and talent with the world.
