Blackstock started his career at Starstruck Entertainment, his father's company, managing artists like Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts. Clarkson and Blackstock met in 2006 and got together in 2012, marrying in 2013. Blackstock managed Clarkson from 2017 until their separation in 2020. They share two children, River and Remington, born in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
