Billy Gibbons, the iconic ZZ Top member, is set to embark on a North American tour in 2026 with his BFG Band. The tour will span 27 shows across various cities and venues, including a two-night performance at the City Winery in New York City. The tour kicks off in late January and features stops in California, Ohio, Tennessee, and Georgia, among others. The BFG Band comprises former Stevie Ray Vaughan drummer Chris "Whipper" Layton and Mike "The Drifter" Flanigin on Hammond organ, bass, and backing vocals.
Gibbons expressed his excitement about the upcoming tour, highlighting the collective Texas blues tradition shared with his bandmates. He teased the release of a new track titled "Brown Paper Bag" ahead of the tour, as he continues to work on his third solo album for Concord Records. The tour announcement follows the recent release of "Livin' It Up Down in Texas" from the Landman soundtrack.
