2025 CMA Awards: Fresh Talent Takes the Stage in Nashville

The 2025 CMA Awards will feature a lineup of fresh talent in the country music scene on November 19 in Nashville. Among the performers are BigXthaPlug, Ella Langley, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
BigXthaPlug, known for his country crossover album "I Hope You’re Happy," will perform "Pray Hard" with Luke Combs. Combs will also sing his latest single "Back in the Saddle." Stephen Wilson Jr. will make his CMA Awards debut with a performance of his viral cover of Ben E. King’s "Stand by Me" and a collaboration with Shaboozey on "Took a Walk."
Tucker Wetmore and Zach Top, both newcomers to the CMA Awards stage, will showcase their talents with performances of "Wind Up Missin’ You" and "Guitar," respectively. Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and host Lainey Wilson will represent the female artists in the lineup.
Lainey Wilson will make history as the first solo female host of the CMA Awards in 34 years, following in the footsteps of Reba McEntire. Wilson expressed her excitement about the opportunity and her love for country music. With six nominations each, Wilson, Moroney, and Langley lead the pack in nominations for the 59th CMA Awards.
