Arrests Made in Fatal Hit-and-Run of 14-Year-Old Boy in Corpus Christi, Texas

Two individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 14-year-old boy following a hit-and-run incident in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a crash on North Lexington Blvd and found the victim receiving medical assistance. Despite efforts to save him, the teenager succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. After conducting interviews with witnesses, authorities arrested 19-year-old Ricardo Licea and 18-year-old Jesus Rodriguez for their involvement in the incident. The two suspects were allegedly racing in separate vehicles on Lexington Blvd when one of them struck the victim. Licea and Rodriguez are facing charges of Racing Causing Death, a second-degree felony.
