Fatal Crash on Interstate 10: Man Killed in Racing Incident in San Antonio

A tragic incident occurred on the East Side of San Antonio, resulting in the death of a man identified as Robert Espinoza, 33. The fatal crash took place late at night on Interstate 10 eastbound between North Foster Road and Farm-to-Market 1516. The collision occurred when a BMW M4 driver, later identified as Kyle Jin Liu, was racing against another driver in a BMW 34 on the highway. The BMW M4 driver struck Espinoza's Nissan, causing it to roll over multiple times. Espinoza sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Both drivers, Liu and Evan Moreno, were arrested and charged with racing causing serious bodily injury. Liu and Moreno were released from the Bexar County jail on Saturday, and it is unclear if they will face additional charges. The cause and manner of Espinoza's death are yet to be determined.
