Join us at the Flying Pig in Everett on Tuesday, Nov. 18, for a free watch party of the U.S. Soccer Men’s National Team match against Uruguay. The event, organized by the City of Everett, United Soccer League (USL), Snohomish County Sports Commission, and the Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce, is open to all ages. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., with kickoff at 4 p.m. Attendees can interact with representatives from the city, USL, and the Sports Commission to learn more about bringing professional soccer to Everett. Don't forget to bring nonperishable food donations to support Volunteers of America Western Washington and receive a complimentary beer or soda, courtesy of the USL. The city is in talks with USL to bring professional soccer teams to Everett through the development of the Outdoor Event Center, a multi-use facility that would host various events. Everett is an official Fan Zone location for the FIFA World Cup 26, offering live match viewings, community celebrations, and family-friendly activities. Additionally, the Snohomish County Sports Commission will host a Draw Event on Dec. 5 at Sound 2 Summit Brewery, where local soccer fans can find out which teams will be playing in the upcoming tournament.
