Legendary Tribute Bands Take the Stage at Independent in Holmeside this December
In December, Independent in Holmeside will host three tribute bands honoring some of the most legendary bands in music history. The first performance on December 6 will feature Floyd UK, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd's iconic album Wish You Were Here. The show will include a full live rendition of the album and other popular Pink Floyd songs. Doors open at 6.30pm, with a break during the show, so arriving on time is recommended to catch Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
On December 13, These Smiths will take the stage, known as one of the top Smiths/Morrissey tribute acts globally. They will authentically recreate the sound, appearance, and spirit of the original band, performing songs from The Smiths' entire discography for a nostalgic 80s experience.
Closing out the month on December 27, Absolutely ABBA will bring the glitz and joy of hits like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, and Waterloo to the stage. The show promises a fun and lively atmosphere for all ages to enjoy.
