Kyle Larson Celebration: Elk Grove and Sonoma Raceway Join Forces to Honor NASCAR Champion

Elk Grove and Sonoma Raceway are coming together to celebrate Kyle Larson, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion and Elk Grove native. The city will host a celebration along Historic Main Street, with Elk Grove Boulevard closed from Elk Grove-Florin Road to School Street starting at 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, featuring a parade that will start at Boulevard Bistro and travel along Elk Grove Boulevard before concluding at Old Town Plaza. This marks Larson's second NASCAR Cup Series Championship victory, following his win in 2021.
Kyle Larson has a special connection to Sonoma Raceway, where he used to attend races with his family and dream of racing there himself. He is known for his success at the track, having won twice at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 and earning five consecutive poles from 2017-2022. Sonoma Raceway has announced that Larson will compete in next year's event on June 28, 2026. For more details about the event, you can visit Sonoma Raceway's website.
