MAMMOTH's Wolfgang Van Halen Discusses 'The End' Album and Future Plans

Wolfgang Van Halen recently discussed his latest album, "The End," under his MAMMOTH project. He expressed his growth as an artist and his confidence in his work. Wolfgang shared that the vocal recording process is the most challenging part for him, as it requires a different approach compared to playing instruments. He drew inspiration from bands like FOO FIGHTERS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, ALICE IN CHAINS, and NINE INCH NAILS for the album's sound.

The music video for the title track "The End" was directed by Robert Rodriguez and Greg Nicotero, featuring appearances from Slash, Myles Kennedy, Danny Trejo, and Valerie Bertinelli. Wolfgang plans to start working on MAMMOTH's fourth album in the spring of 2027, building on his previous experiences and creative process. He emphasized the importance of staying true to himself as an artist and not relying on his father's legacy for success.

To celebrate the release of "The End," MAMMOTH embarked on a fall headline tour with Myles Kennedy as a special guest. The touring lineup includes Wolfgang on guitar and vocals, along with other talented musicians. Wolfgang's previous albums, "Mammoth WVH" and "Mammoth II," received critical acclaim and chart success, showcasing his growth and musical prowess. The band has performed with renowned artists and made appearances on various TV shows and events, solidifying their presence in the music industry.
