Rolling Stones' 50th Anniversary Celebration: GRRR! Album, 50 and Counting Tour, and Prudential Center Show
On November 12, 2012, The Rolling Stones celebrated their 50th anniversary by releasing the compilation album GRRR! The album featured 50 tracks, including iconic songs like “Gimme Shelter,” “Honky Tonk Woman,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” as well as two new songs, “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot.” Following the album release, the band embarked on the 50 and Counting tour in December 2012, which included a memorable show at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. This concert featured special guest appearances by Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., Mick Taylor, and The Black Keys. The performance was later remixed and reedited for release as an album and concert film in February 2023.
