JR Motorsports Returns to Cup Racing with Exciting Partnerships and Strong Momentum

JR Motorsports, co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt Miller, is set to make its return to Cup racing next year. The NASCAR Xfinity Series team, soon to be known as the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, made its Cup debut earlier this year at the Daytona 500. Justin Allgaier, the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion with JRM, drove the No. 40 Chevrolet and secured a top ten finish in the Daytona 500, marking his first Cup start in a decade.

The No. 40 car will once again hit the track at the 68th running of the Daytona 500, with a partnership with Country music artist Chris Stapleton and Traveller Whiskey. JR Motorsports has been a dominant force in the Xfinity Series, winning four driver's titles over the past two decades. In the previous season, the team won 17 out of 33 NXS races and had three drivers in the Championship 4, although they narrowly missed out on the championship.
