Disney and Alphabet Reach Agreement: All Disney Networks Reinstated on YouTube TV

Disney and Alphabet, the parent company of YouTube TV, have resolved their two-week standoff, announcing a new deal on Friday. Disney confirmed that it was reinstating all its networks and stations on YouTube TV. Subscribers can now enjoy channels like ABC, ESPN, and FX on the platform. The agreement includes access to ESPN networks, ABC, Disney channels, Freeform, FX Networks, and National Geographic channels at no additional cost. Additionally, viewers can opt for ESPN's Unlimited Plan and add Disney+ and Hulu Bundle to their subscription. The dispute had affected sports fans who missed out on live NBA, NFL, and NHL games since October 30, including a notable "Monday Night Football" game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers. YouTube accused Disney of using blackout threats as a negotiation tactic to increase prices for subscribers. Disney, on the other hand, claimed that YouTube TV was not paying fair rates for its channels, depriving subscribers of valuable content.
