Experience Winter Fun at the Holland Ice Park: Skating, Curling, and More!

The Holland Ice Park recently opened to the public, but warm temperatures caused some sessions to be canceled on Saturday. The Holland Department of Parks and Recreation canceled the 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. open skate sessions and curling sheet reservations due to the impact of warm temperatures and wind on the ice conditions. Attendees were notified of the cancellations via text and email.

Despite the cancellations, the Holland Ice Park offers various activities such as skating and curling sessions. The park, located at Window on the Waterfront Park, boasts amenities like fire pits, a skating ribbon, an ice pond, and a curling sheet. The project, which cost over $11 million, has been in development for years and has garnered significant interest from the community.

Tickets for the Holland Ice Park must be purchased online in advance, as the first session sold out within 36 minutes of ticket sales opening on October 28. The park is expected to be a popular attraction, so early booking is recommended. The City of Holland has provided information on ticket sales and reservations, emphasizing the need to purchase tickets ahead of time to secure a spot for public skating.

The Holland Ice Park will be open from Tuesday to Sunday until March 15, weather permitting. Visitors are encouraged to check the park's schedule and make reservations in advance to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience at the ice park. With its array of activities and amenities, the Holland Ice Park promises a fun-filled winter experience for all ages.
