The Boston College Sailing team recently participated in the ICSA Match Race National Championship at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club in Florida. The team, led by skipper Peter Busch and crew members Peter Joslin, James O'Gwen, Tor Svendsen, and Madeline Torrey, finished fourth out of 10 teams in the competition. They achieved a 4-3 record, securing victories against Stanford, Illinois, Georgetown, and Brown.

The team's next event is the Rose Bowl Regatta in Los Angeles, California, scheduled for January 3. In the recent championship, Harvard University claimed the top spot, followed by College of Charleston and Tulane University. Boston College finished ahead of Georgetown, Brown, Roger Williams, United States Naval Academy, University of Illinois, and Stanford.
