DoorDash Delivery Driver Arrested for False Accusations and Privacy Violations: A Cautionary Tale

A DoorDash delivery driver who recorded a customer naked and accused him of sexual assault has been arrested and is facing serious charges. Livie Rose Henderson, 23, initially shared a TikTok video alleging that she was sexually assaulted while delivering food. She claimed that DoorDash deactivated her account shortly after she reported the incident and that the police didn't take her complaint seriously. Henderson stated that she saw the customer asleep on the couch with his pants down when she went to drop off the food at his address and posted a blurred video of the incident on TikTok.

However, the customer's Ring camera footage contradicted Henderson's version of events, showing that he did not invite her inside his home and was not intentionally exposing himself. Subsequently, Henderson was arrested on Nov. 10 on two felony charges: unlawful surveillance in the second degree and dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image in the first degree. Police believe that Henderson entered the man's home without permission and recorded him in a vulnerable state. DoorDash confirmed that her account was deactivated for violating safety protocols, and the customer was banned, with no charges filed against him.

Each of Henderson's charges carries a potential penalty of up to four years in prison. The incident serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of making false accusations and violating privacy rights. It underscores the importance of respecting boundaries and following proper procedures when delivering services to customers.
