Marco Bezzecchi Dominates Valencia MotoGP Finale: Race Recap

Marco Bezzecchi emerged victorious in the MotoGP season finale at Valencia, leading every lap of the race. Despite a poor start in the Sprint race, Bezzecchi took the holeshot at Turn 1 and controlled the race. The chaotic opening lap saw Francesco Bagnaia retire after tangling with Johann Zarco, who received a long-lap penalty for entering a corner too fast. Franco Morbidelli retired due to a collision with Aleix Espargaro, while Fabio Di Giannantonio was overtaken by Raul Fernandez, who set the fastest lap of the race.

Pedro Acosta moved up to fourth in the championship after overtaking Di Giannantonio. Ai Ogura crashed out, while a battle unfolded between Fermin Aldeguer and Luca Marini for seventh place. Marini eventually claimed seventh, causing Honda to lose concessions for the next season. Fernandez made a strong move on Marquez and closed in on Bezzecchi, reducing the gap to just 0.4s.

Bezzecchi held off Fernandez to secure the win, becoming the first Aprilia rider to win three races in a season. Fernandez finished second, showcasing Aprilia's competitiveness. Di Giannantonio completed the podium, securing seventh in the championship. Aldeguer beat Marquez to fifth place, with Brad Binder in eighth. Miller finished ninth ahead of Bastianini, while Oliveira, Zarco, and Mir rounded out the top 14. Bulega scored points in his first two MotoGP races, with Fernandez and Chantra at the back of the field.
