Review: Aerosmith's 'One More Time' EP with Yungblud Falls Short of Expectations

Aerosmith, the iconic classic rock band, released a collaborative EP titled "One More Time" with British rock star Yungblud. The EP was intended to be a triumphant career milestone for Aerosmith, especially after having to cancel their farewell tour due to a vocal injury suffered by Steven Tyler. Despite Tyler's impressive performance at the Back to the Beginning concert, the EP falls short of expectations. While the lead single "My Only Angel" shows promise with its catchy chorus, the subsequent tracks lack the band's signature sound and rely heavily on pop-chart success and outside songwriters. The overproduction and pitch correction on the EP strip away the rawness of Tyler's vocals and leave much to be desired. The EP's final track, a remix of "Back in the Saddle," further disappoints, tarnishing the legacy of one of Aerosmith's greatest hits. "One More Time" serves as a reminder that sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone.
