Calvin Harris Makes Strategic Talent Booking Shift to Wasserman Music

Calvin Harris is making a significant change in his talent bookings by shifting his overseas bookings from WME to agent Brent Smith at Wasserman Music. Smith, who has been managing Harris' U.S. bookings for a while, joined Wasserman in late 2020 after working at WME. The Scottish EDM artist, known for popular tracks like “Summer,” “One Kiss,” “This Is What You Came for,” and “How Deep Is Your Love,” had planned the transition to Wasserman Music in advance.
Harris is gearing up for a two-year residency at the Wynn in Las Vegas starting on January 16 next year. Previously, he held a residency at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Internationally, Harris is scheduled to perform at various festivals, including Ushaïa Dubai, the Soundstorm festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia’s Jakarta Warehouse Project, and Creamfields Asia. This move consolidates all of Harris' live business under Wasserman, with his international touring now being handled by Smith.
The decision to move Harris' bookings to Wasserman was not influenced by a recent incident involving WME agent David Levy, who faced criticism for signing a letter urging the removal of a band from a festival lineup. Instead, the move was driven by Harris' desire to reunite his full touring business under Smith's management. This strategic shift marks a new chapter in Harris' career as he continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his electrifying performances and chart-topping hits.
