The Darkness have revealed their UK arena tour dates for 2026, marking their biggest tour in two decades. The rock band from Lowestoft will kick off the seven-date tour at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on December 8, followed by stops in Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, and more, culminating in their debut show at London's O2 Arena. Brothers Osborne and A, both from Lowestoft, will support The Darkness on all tour dates. Pre-sale for the tour starts on November 26, with general sale following on November 28.
The band's latest album, 'Dreams On Toast', released in March, was inspired by timeless music. The album features singles like 'The Longest Kiss', 'Rock And Roll Party Cowboy', 'Walking Through Fire', and 'I Hate Myself', as well as a closing track titled 'Weekend In Rome' featuring actor Stephen Dorff. The Darkness faced criticism when guitarist Dan Hawkins expressed disapproval of Yungblud and Aerosmith's Ozzy Osbourne tribute, calling them "a bunch of bellends". Frontman Justin Hawkins later elaborated on the comments, describing the performance as "rock n' roll seen through an Instagram filter" and questioning its authenticity.
In response, Yungblud defended his performance, accusing critics of being "bitter and jealous" and seeking relevance by criticizing their tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
