Freezing Man Benefit Concerts 2026: Lineup Updates and Exciting Performances

The second annual Freezing Man benefit concerts in Madison, Wisconsin, have added some exciting artists to their lineup. Musicians like John Rzeznik, Gina Schock, and Tracy Bonham will be performing at the events on January 9 and 10, 2026. Other new additions include Kay Hanley, Stacy Jones, Jeremy Tappero, Ryan Smith, John Cowsill, Miguel Cervantes, and Jordi Radnoti.

Unfortunately, some previously announced performers like Rick Nielsen, Daxx Nielsen, Debbi Peterson, and Tanya Donelly have dropped off the bill. The concerts will support Joey’s Song, a charity that raises funds for epilepsy research and children with special needs. Butch Vig, the drummer of Garbage, will be the music director and lead the house band, The Know-It-All Boyfriends.

The January 9 show will be an intimate seated event with artists performing unplugged and sharing stories behind their songs. The January 10 concert will be an electric event starting with a "Battle of the Bands" between The Know-It-All Boyfriends and the "Know-It-All Girlfriends." The electric show will feature collaborations and end with an all-star jam.

Other artists initially announced for the Freezing Man shows include Vicki Peterson, Jane Wiedlin, Duke Erikson, Jody Stephens, Jon Auer, Steve Porcaro, Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, and many more. Tickets for the concerts are available at JoeysSong.org, with proceeds benefiting CURE Epilepsy, Epilepsy Foundation affiliates, and Wisconsin Badger Camp.

Joey’s Song, founded by Mike Gomoll in memory of his son Joseph, who passed away from Dravet Syndrome, has raised over $1.75 million through benefit concerts. An auction featuring meet-and-greets and signed memorabilia items will also raise funds for the organization. The January 10 electric concert will be livestreamed, with tickets available for purchase at GiveButter.com to support Joey’s Song's charitable mission.
