Recent Hazmat Incident at Dallas ICE Office Under Investigation

Hazmat crews were called to investigate an unknown substance at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office on North Stemmons Freeway. The Dallas Fire-Rescue hazmat team responded to reports of the substance early Friday morning. The ICE office had previously been the site of a shooting incident in September, where two detainees were killed and another wounded by a suspect who later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities found ammunition with "anti-ICE" messages near the shooter after the incident. The investigation into the unknown substance at the ICE office is ongoing.
