Harry Lloyd Joins Star-Studded Cast as George Martin in The Beatles Biopic

The upcoming four-part The Beatles biopic has added Harry Lloyd to its cast. The 42-year-old actor, known for his role in Game of Thrones, will be portraying George Martin, the band's producer often referred to as the fifth Beatle. George's son Giles Martin confirmed the news during an interview, praising Lloyd's commitment to the role. George Martin, a classically trained musician, played a significant role in The Beatles' original albums, contributing orchestral arrangements and playing instruments on various tracks. He produced numerous hit singles and won multiple Grammy awards before passing away in 2016.

Harry Lloyd joins a star-studded cast that includes Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Harris Dickinson, and Joseph Quinn as The Beatles, along with Saoirse Ronan, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Anna Sawai, and Aimee Lou Wood as their love interests. The highly anticipated project, titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, is scheduled for release in April 2028 and is helmed by director Sam Mendes. Fans can look forward to seeing this talented ensemble bring the iconic story of The Beatles to life on the big screen.
