George Harrison and Bob Dylan: A Musical Friendship

In late November 1968, George Harrison visited Bob Dylan at his home in Woodstock, New York, during Thanksgiving weekend for music sessions. Dylan, recovering from a motorcycle accident, had recently released "Nashville Skyline" and was feeling nervous. The two musicians co-wrote songs for Harrison's upcoming album, "All Things Must Pass," during their time together.
Dylan and Harrison's friendship grew as they collaborated on music, with Harrison recording a demo of a song called "Everybody Comes to Town" at Dylan's home in Greenwich Village in 1970. The lyrics reflected Harrison's frustrations with being known only as a Beatle and his desire for creative freedom.
Their friendship continued over the years, with Harrison praising Dylan's unique voice and songwriting during the 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration for Dylan in 1993. The two musicians also collaborated on songs for the Travelling Wilburys, showcasing their mutual respect and admiration for each other's work.
