Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. Discharged from Hospital After Battling Rare Neurological Condition

Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. has been released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital following a hospitalization for a rare neurological condition. The Rainbow PUSH Coalition confirmed his discharge and expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received during his stay. Jackson's son, Yusef Jackson, thanked everyone for their prayers and acknowledged the medical staff at the hospital for their care and professionalism. Jackson was admitted to the hospital on Nov. 12 for observation related to progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a neurological disorder. Throughout his hospitalization, prominent political figures like Rev. Al Sharpton and Bill and Hillary Clinton visited him. Jackson, who celebrated his 84th birthday in October, is now at home recovering.
