Unearthed: Rare Footage of Black Sabbath's 1978 Performance with Dave Walker

Black Sabbath fans can now enjoy rare footage of the band performing live with temporary singer Dave Walker in 1978. Walker briefly replaced Ozzy Osbourne during a tumultuous period for the band, only to be replaced by Osbourne shortly after. The video captures Black Sabbath playing War Pigs and an early version of Junior's Eyes during a performance on UK television. Walker, a seasoned musician with stints in Fleetwood Mac and Savoy Brown, had a brief and tense tenure with the band before being dismissed abruptly. Despite Osbourne's return in 1978, his second stint with the band was also short-lived, leading to his departure in 1979. Black Sabbath continued with Ronnie James Dio as their frontman, while Osbourne pursued a successful solo career. The band reunited multiple times over the years, with Osbourne's final performance with Sabbath taking place in 2025 before his untimely death in 2027.
