Journey of Resilience: From Music Venue History to Personal Triumphs
Experience the rich history of our venue, which dates back to the mid-90s when we were the last band to perform at the old location. Despite initial setbacks, we returned to open the new venue, selling out multiple times. However, due to capacity issues, we had to relocate to Milton Keynes. After a hiatus, I revisited the venue in 2019 and was impressed by its charm. Reflecting on my memories, I realized the significance of the venue in my career and decided to make peace with it.
Following a brief tour in 2022, I noticed issues with my vocal cords and sought medical advice. Despite uncertainties, I underwent surgery with the hope of regaining my singing abilities. The journey to recovery was challenging, but the prospect of returning to the stage kept me motivated. I was determined to rediscover the joy of performing and felt a renewed sense of purpose.
In the midst of uncertainty, I contemplated potential destinations as an expat of America. The UK emerged as a top choice, followed by Canada and Ireland. These countries offered a sense of familiarity and comfort, where I could potentially blend in without drawing attention. Amidst the chaos of the world, finding a place to call home became a priority.
Engaging in road trips with a close friend has become a cherished tradition, free from distractions and filled with meaningful conversations. Despite speculation, these trips are simply an opportunity to connect and enjoy each other's company. The camaraderie and nostalgia of these journeys bring a sense of joy and fulfillment, reminiscent of simpler times.

Our friendship blossomed over the years, particularly during Robbie's time in Florida. He provided a listening ear and a source of strength during challenging times. As he embarked on his tour, I found inspiration in his resilience and determination, urging him to succeed and serve as a beacon of hope for me. Our bond transcended music, evolving into a source of mutual support and encouragement.
