Ray J, a music artist and reality TV personality, was arrested in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving morning after police responded to a domestic dispute call involving a possible weapon in the home. The incident reportedly revolved around a custody conflict concerning his children. LAPD officers arrived at the scene around 4 a.m. following reports of escalating family tensions and threats made during the dispute. Ray J was booked on a felony charge and later released on a $50,000 bond.
Prior to his arrest, Ray J allegedly livestreamed a video where he expressed frustration over the situation, claiming it was the "worst Thanksgiving" and accusing someone of trying to take his children. In the video, he was seen holding what appeared to be a handgun and making threats toward an unidentified person. Princess Love, Ray J's wife, entered the room during the livestream, holding their daughter, and accused Ray J of pointing a gun at them. The confrontation escalated before the camera was set down.
