Fatal Shooting in Parkland Neighborhood: LMPD Investigates Two Incidents

A fatal shooting occurred in the Parkland neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, resulting in one man's death and another man being injured. The incident took place on Saturday, Nov. 29, with the first victim found on the 2900 block of Greenwood Avenue. He was taken to UofL Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive his injuries. Shortly after, another shooting was reported on the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue, where a man was found shot inside a location. Despite efforts to save him, the man died at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed. The Louisville Metro Police Department's Homicide Unit is conducting an investigation to determine any connection between the victims and the circumstances leading to the shootings. At present, there are no suspects in custody.
