Radiohead's Unforgettable Performances: A Look Back at Their Record-Breaking Shows and European Tour

Next year's Coachella music festival is set to feature a special installation by the iconic U.K. band Radiohead. The band recently reunited to perform four sold-out shows at The O2 Arena in London, breaking the venue's attendance record previously held by Metallica. Each concert drew over 22,200 attendees, with the final show reaching 22,355 concert-goers. The O2's senior programming director expressed gratitude to Radiohead for the exclusive shows, which featured different set lists spanning the band's impressive back catalogue.

Radiohead kicked off their European tour at Madrid's Movistar Arena and will continue to perform across the U.K. and Europe, including stops in Bologna, Copenhagen, and Berlin. At one of their London shows, the band surprised fans by performing "Like Spinning Plates" live for the first time, a track from their album "Amnesiac" released in 2001. The band also played "Kid A" and "Talk Show Host" for the first time since 2018 at the Unipol Arena in Bologna.

The record-breaking attendance at The O2 Arena and the unique set lists performed by Radiohead have made these shows unforgettable for fans and will be remembered for years to come. The band's ability to captivate audiences with their music and surprise performances continues to solidify their status as one of the most influential and innovative bands in the music industry.
