Drake Reigns Supreme: Apple Music's Most-Streamed Artist of 2025

Drake faced a tough loss to Kendrick Lamar last year, but his popularity remains strong. Apple Music has named him the most-streamed artist of 2025. While specific streaming figures were not disclosed, Drake's album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U," debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and set records for first-day streams on Apple Music. Tracks like "Nokia" and "Gimme a Hug" from the album made waves on the charts, with "Nokia" ranking as the 13th most-streamed song on Apple Music this year. Drake also teased new music with songs like "What Did I Miss?" and "Which One."
Kendrick Lamar also had a strong showing on Apple Music in 2025, with his collaboration with SZA, "Luther," being the second most-streamed song on the platform. His diss track to Drake, "Not Like Us," continued to perform well, along with other tracks like "30 For 30," "TV Off," "Squabble Up," and "Like That." Even older tracks like "All the Stars" and "Money Trees" made it to the top 100, boosted by Kendrick and SZA's Super Bowl halftime show in February.
