Touring Crew Member Dismissed for Alleged Online Solicitation of Minor: Parker McCollum Takes Swift Action
Parker McCollum recently dismissed Joel Schoepf, a member of his touring crew, after Schoepf was arrested for online solicitation of a minor under 14 years old. Schoepf, who was working as McCollum’s assistant road manager at the time of his arrest, was terminated immediately upon McCollum learning of the allegations. McCollum has not publicly commented on the incident. Schoepf was arrested following a sting operation by Predator Poachers and was taken into custody on Nov. 13, with his bond set at $50,000. Schoepf has a background in tour management in the Texas country music scene and has worked with various artists, including Willie Nelson and Reckless Kelly. This is the first time Schoepf has faced federal sex crime charges, with his previous arrest history dating back to 2003 for drug-related charges.
