Man Apprehended for Stealing Middletown Police Cruiser in Stabbing Incident
A man has been apprehended for stealing a Middletown police cruiser from a stabbing incident, as reported by the Middletown police department. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at the 4400 block of Bonita Drive, where officers responded to a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim with over 30 stab wounds, who was rushed to Atrium Medical Center and later transferred to Miami Valley Hospital in critical condition. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jonathan Crabtree, fled the scene and managed to enter a locked police vehicle through the window, stealing the cruiser. Following a search, Crabtree and the stolen vehicle were found in Independence, Ky., where he was arrested by the Independence Police department without any issues.
