Marciano Brunette Files Lawsuit Against Demi Engemann for False Sexual Misconduct Accusations

Marciano Brunette has filed a lawsuit against Demi Engemann, claiming that she falsely accused him of sexual misconduct on social media and in the Hulu TV series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The lawsuit alleges that Engemann used her influence as a TV star to make defamatory accusations against Brunette, including claims of unwanted touch and sexual assault. Brunette denied the allegations and stated that they had a consensual interaction while appearing on the Bravo reality series Vanderpump Villa.

The lawsuit further alleges that Brunette and Engemann stayed in contact for months after their initial interaction, exchanging calls, texts, and FaceTime calls. Brunette claims that Engemann encouraged him to use ketamine and sent him positive messages, contradicting her later accusations of sexual misconduct. Brunette thanked his supporters for their love and support during this challenging time and emphasized the seriousness of sexual assault allegations.

Jeff Jenkins Productions, the production company behind The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, is also named in the lawsuit for airing Engemann's claims despite allegedly having reasons to doubt their veracity. The lawsuit accuses the production company of building storylines around Engemann's accusations and denying Brunette the opportunity to respond. Engemann began characterizing the incident as sexual assault months later, following an Instagram post by Brunette referencing the incident.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified financial damages and an injunction to prevent Engemann and Jeff Jenkins Productions from repeating or republishing defamatory statements. Brunette is taking legal action to address the false allegations made against him and protect his reputation.
