New Guns N' Roses Tracks 'Nothin'' and 'Atlas': A Blend of Classic and Contemporary

Guns N’ Roses has unveiled two new tracks, “Nothin'” and “Atlas,” marking their first release in two years. The songs, originating from the Chinese Democracy album sessions in 2008, showcase a blend of the band’s classic elements with a contemporary twist. “Nothin'” kicks off with a serene vibe, featuring Axl Rose’s emotive vocals and a bluesy guitar solo by Slash, transitioning into a powerful ballad. On the other hand, “Atlas” delves into a ’90s alternative rock style, incorporating sharp guitar leads and catchy choruses, offering a fresh take on the band’s sound.

Both “Nothin'” and “Atlas” will be up for preorder on Dec. 12 in various formats, including a 7″ vinyl, a store-exclusive cassette, and a Japan-exclusive SHM-CD. These releases cater to the anticipation surrounding Guns N’ Roses’ comeback and provide fans with diverse options to enjoy the new music. With the addition of these two tracks, the band’s post-reunion song count reaches six, featuring Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan from the classic lineup. The songs are set to be part of the band’s 2026 North American tour, alongside other hits and fan favorites from their extensive catalog.

Despite the excitement generated by the new releases, fans are eager to know if Guns N’ Roses will drop a full album soon. While the band possesses a wealth of unreleased material, there is no concrete indication of an album in the works. Slash mentioned the abundance of material and the need for discipline to organize it, emphasizing the unpredictability of planning ahead in the band’s creative process.
