Truly Reunion: '90s Alternative Rock Supergroup Announces US Tour Dates and New Album
Truly, a '90s alternative rock supergroup formed by former members of Soundgarden and Screaming Trees, has announced their reunion and upcoming US tour dates. The band, consisting of Hiro Yamamoto, Mark Pickerel, and Robert Roth, released their debut EP, Hearts and Lungs, in 1991 on Sub Pop. They later signed with Capitol Records for their debut album, Fast Stories...from Kid Coma, in 1995, which received critical acclaim but struggled commercially.
Despite their initial success, Truly split in 1998 after releasing a second album, Feeling You Up, on US indie label Thick. They later released a rarities compilation album, Twilight Curtains, in 2000. Now, the band is back together and gearing up for a new album and tour.
Robert Roth announced on the band's Instagram account that Truly will be recording new material in January 2026 and embarking on the Truly • Then, Today & Tomorrow Tour • 2026 in March. The tour will feature 11 US shows, with promises of new songs and classic hits from their discography. The band has also signed a management deal with Worldwide Entertainment Group, LLC (WEG).
