Royal Christmas Card: Celebrating 20 Years of Love and Tradition

The King and Queen have unveiled their Christmas card for this year, featuring a charming portrait of the royal couple embracing to mark their 20th anniversary. The photo was captured during their visit to Villa Wolkonsky, the British ambassador's residence in Rome, Italy. Enclosed in a dark red border, the card includes a heartfelt message in a matching colour, extending warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The anniversary of Charles and Camilla on 9 April coincided with their meeting with Pope Francis, who sadly passed away shortly after at the age of 88. In the photograph, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, Camilla is elegantly dressed in a white and beige coat dress by Anna Valentine, adorned with a lily of the valley brooch. Charles is seen in a blue pinstripe suit paired with a grey tie and a silk handkerchief in his chest pocket.
This year's Christmas card marks the fourth one since Charles became King, with numerous copies being distributed annually to family, friends, world leaders, diplomats, charities, and organizations. In the previous year's card, Charles and Camilla opted for a joyful picture of them in the Buckingham Palace garden. The year before that, the card featured the royal couple in the Throne Room at the Palace following the coronation, with Charles donning the Imperial State Crown and Camilla wearing Queen Mary's Crown.
Recently, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, attended the Together at Christmas carol service, where they were joined by renowned Hollywood stars like Kate Winslet and singer Katie Melua. The royal couple's Christmas card serves as a delightful tradition that spreads joy and festive cheer to all recipients.
