Peter Criss, our original drummer, Paul Stanley, and I attended the funeral, where we saw Ace's open casket. Witnessing this was truly heart-wrenching. It is especially tragic that Ace did not live long enough to witness the recognition KISS would receive at the Kennedy Center.
