Remembering Ace: A Heartbreaking Loss for KISS and the Music Industry

He disregarded advice from concerned individuals, including myself, to make changes to his lifestyle. Making poor decisions repeatedly, he faced consequences. While the cause of his death remains unclear, it is a heartbreaking loss. The saying "you reap what you sow" sadly rings true in this situation.
Peter Criss, our original drummer, Paul Stanley, and I attended the funeral, where we saw Ace's open casket. Witnessing this was truly heart-wrenching. It is especially tragic that Ace did not live long enough to witness the recognition KISS would receive at the Kennedy Center. The thought of him missing out on hearing esteemed individuals express their admiration for KISS is truly saddening.
In conclusion, the passing of Ace is a devastating loss. Despite the advice and support offered to him, he faced challenges that ultimately led to his untimely death. The missed opportunity for him to witness the recognition of KISS at the Kennedy Center is a poignant reminder of the impact he had on the music industry.
