The White House shared a video clip of Carpenter on SNL with altered dialogue, followed by a montage of ICE arrests set to music by Gucci Mane. Carpenter had previously expressed her disapproval of her song being used in a similar ICE video, calling it "evil and disgusting." The White House's post referencing Carpenter's song "Juno" has since been deleted, but they defended their actions, stating they won't apologize for deporting dangerous criminals from the country. Carpenter has not responded to the White House's latest post.
