ACC Standout Cameron Boozer Continues Dominance with Player and Rookie of the Week Honors

The ACC has been dominated by Cameron Boozer, who has been named both the player and rookie of the week for the second consecutive week. Boozer's outstanding performances in victories over Florida and Michigan State have earned him these accolades. In the game against Florida, he scored 29 points and grabbed six rebounds, while in the match against Michigan State, he recorded a double-double with 18 points and a season-high 15 rebounds.
Boozer has been a standout player in the ACC, receiving the player of the week award three times this season and the rookie of the week honor for the past four weeks. Only a few other players, including Caleb Brown and Neoklis Avdalas, have been recognized for their performances in the ACC this season. SMU senior guard B.J. Edwards was also named player of the week.
The ACC schedule has led to some interesting matchups, with all four North Carolina schools playing in the Dome last season. This season, Syracuse will face these schools on the road, including North Carolina, where Caleb Brown is a top freshman to watch. Virginia Tech's Avdalas, known for his passing skills, will also be a player to watch when they play in the Dome on January 21.
Despite not having home games against Duke, Syracuse fans will still have the opportunity to see some talented first-year players in action at the Dome this season. When North Carolina visits on February 21, fans can look forward to watching Brown, who is averaging a double-double, and Avdalas, who leads Virginia Tech in assists. It promises to be an exciting season for ACC basketball fans.
