Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni: Civil Trial Rescheduled in U.S. District Court

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's civil trial has been rescheduled by the judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The trial, originally set for March 9, 2026, has been postponed to May 18 due to the judge's commitment to two criminal trials taking precedence. The next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 22 for oral arguments on summary judgments. Lively, 38, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, and others in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation, seeking over $160 million in damages. Baldoni's $400 million countersuit for extortion and defamation has been dismissed by the judge. Baldoni's attorney expressed his client's desire to be vindicated and share the truth in court. Lively, on the other hand, remains steadfast in her commitment to standing up for women's rights and voices.
