Elvis Presley's 'Blue Christmas' Resurgence: Climbing the Billboard Charts This December

Elvis Presley's iconic holiday hit, "Blue Christmas," is making a comeback on the Billboard charts this December, along with his album, The Classic Christmas Album. The melancholic tune has reentered the Streaming Songs and Billboard Global 200 charts, ranking at Nos. 24 and 60, respectively. Despite missing the top spot on the Rock Streaming Songs chart, "Blue Christmas" has climbed to the second position, trailing behind Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run."
"Blue Christmas" has previously topped the Rock Streaming Songs chart for six nonconsecutive weeks, solidifying its status as a holiday classic. In addition to its success on the rock charts, the track has also made gains on the Holiday Streaming Songs and Holiday 100 lists, reaching Nos. 20 and 21, respectively. The resurgence of "Blue Christmas" has propelled Elvis Presley's The Classic Christmas Album to No. 55 on the Billboard 200, with a significant increase in equivalent units sold.
Alongside "Blue Christmas," Presley's rendition of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" has entered the Christian Streaming Songs chart at No. 20. The Classic Christmas Album has seen a remarkable rise on various Billboard charts, including the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, where it has broken into the top 10 at No. 9. With a surge in streams and sales, Presley's holiday compilation is regaining popularity and recognition during the festive season.
